About Business
Maryland Wellness (formerly Baltimore Area Community Health Services - BACHS/Alek's House) uses a person-centered approach to help clients successfully achieve their social, emotional and behavioral health needs by providing reduced or no out-of-pocket-cost Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services, therapy, medication management and substance use disorder treatment. We work with at-risk individuals, including those on Medicaid, battling complex mental health illnesses. Maryland Wellness provides compassionate services to individuals of all races, religions, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, socio-economic classes or other designations. We believe mental health and physical health are intrinsically linked.
